Today we made oobleck! It was fun and messy! We discussed the properties of the oobleck. It acts like a liquid when being poured, but like a solid when a force is acting on it. Very interesting! If you make enough of it, you can even walk on it! Several of the students begged me for the recipe so that they could make oobleck at home. All you need is 1 1/2-2 cups of cornstarch, 1 cup of water, and green food coloring. Enjoy!
Oooh, that sounds neat! Clay told me about oobleck but I had no idea what he was talking about. Maybe we'll make some tonight! Sounds kinda gooey... and fun!
