Liquid Art
Wonder what happens when you add food coloring to whole milk?? We found out! We used our 5 senses to make predictions, observe, and record our predictions!

Mystery Mixture
In science today, we made a mystery mixture! We learned that Qualitative Observation was using our 5 senses to determine what the mixture was. We used Quantative Observation to measure everything perfectly to make the mixture! At the very end, our mixture turned into chocolate pudding! YUM!

Mr. Putter and Tabby Fly the Plane
We read a story in reading this week about a man that has always wanted to fly his own airplane. So, we had our own airplane competition. Everyone in the class got a chance to make their own paper airplane. Then, we sent our planes flying to see whose plane made it the farthest! Carter came in 1st place with his plane flying 24 feet!! Cole came in a close 2nd with 23 feet!! WOW!

1st Day of School
Wow!! Wednesday was a great day! Our class had fun meeting and getting to know each other. We also learned a lot about our classroom and 2nd grade. We made and decorated picture frames, and completed an "All About Me" poster to hang in the hall! I can already tell we are going to have an awesome year!
